November 18 1:30-5 Grace Presbytery Worship
at St. Barnabas in Richardson
All youth in Grace Presbytery are invited to participate in this experience. Our youth group will be leading the charge and benediction part, which takes place at the very end. The service begins at 3 p.m., so we will leave Trinity at 1:30 and return about 5 p.m. We will not meet that evening. Please let Beth know that you are going to attend, since transportation will need to be arranged. November 25 5-7:30 Shopping for our adopted family
We love doing this every year. Come join the fun and experience the blessed feeling that comes from caring for some of God’s own in this particular way.
Supper at the church at 5 (Dylan’s family will provide).
Shopping and back at the church by 7:30.
December 2 Church-wide Advent Activities at the church
December 9 Christmas at the Mall
(religion hunt and Bible Study) 5-7:30
We will have a scavenger hunt of sorts to see what we can find at the mall that shows us what Christmas is. We’ll leave the church at 5:10 and return at 7:30. Bring money for supper at the food court.
December 14 (Friday) Progressive Dinner and Lock-in
6:30 p.m. Friday---8:00 a.m. Saturday
Instead of having our progressive dinner only at houses, like we usually do, this year we are having our progressive dinner at two houses and at the church. The first house will be appetizers, the second house (Ally’s house) will be the main dish, and we’ll have dessert and present opening at the church. Then, we’ll stay at the church for the night watching movies and playing games. Everyone will bring a white elephant gift. That’s a gift that is funny and inexpensive.
